Miss Nanny: Muppet Babies

Jenny Slate stars as the voice of the iconic Miss Nanny in Disney Junior’s reimagined “Muppet Babies” television series, which chronicles the hilarious playroom antics of the young Kermit the Frog, Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal and brand-new Muppet Baby, Summer Penguin.

Slate is best known for her breakout role in the critically-acclaimed independent film “Obvious Child,” for which she won a Critics’ Choice Award and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. She will next be seen in the upcoming films “Venom,” starring opposite Michelle Williams, Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed, and “Hotel Artemis,” starring opposite Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day and Jeff Goldblum.

Some additional live-action feature film credits include “Gifted,” “Landline,” and “The Polka King.”

Slate starred as the voice of Bellwether in Disney’s Academy Award-winning “Zootopia.” Her additional animated feature film credits include “The Lorax,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” “The LEGO Batman Movie” and “Despicable Me 3.”

Her live-action television credits include “House of Lies,” “Girls,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Bored to Death,” “Hello Ladies” and “Kroll Show.”

On the animated television side, Slate currently voices the recurring role of Pony Head in Disney XD’s “Star vs. The Forces of Evil,” as well as Missy in “Big Mouth,” Tammy in “Bob’s Burgers” and Jane in “Comrade Detective.”

Slate also voices the character of “Marcel the Shell” from the popular online short films, which she co-created with Dean Fleisher-Camp, and has since been turned into a New York Times best-selling book.

Born and raised in Milton, Massachusetts, Slate currently resides in Los Angeles with her dog Reggie.
