For the Second Time in Three Weeks, ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ Is No. 1 in Key Adults 25–54 Demo

“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (491,000) on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, leading CBS’ “Face the Nation” and NBC’s “Meet the Press” for the 2nd time in the last 3 weeks.

“This Week” beat NBC’s “Meet the Press” (386,000) by 105,000 Adults 25-54, beating the NBC program by its largest news demo margin in nearly 1 year — since 4/2/23, based on regular telecasts.

“This Week” delivered double-digit increases week to week in Total Viewers (+12% – 2.586 million vs. 2.311 million) and Adults 25-54 (+45% – 491,000 vs. 338,000). “This Week” posted its strongest news demo performance in more than 4 months, with its 2nd-best performance of the season, behind only its season premiere on 10/1/23.

“This Week” improved on its year-ago telecast in Total Viewers (+2% – 2.586 million vs. 2.540 million) and Adults 25-54 (+2% – 491,000 vs. 481,000), standing as the only public affairs program to grow year to year.

NOTE: CBS’ “Face the Nation” was retitled to “Face-Nation.”

ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
