Two-Hour ‘20/20’ With Reporting by Co-Anchor Amy Robach Is Friday’s No. 1 Newsmagazine, Beating ‘Dateline’ by Double Digits in All Key Demos: Total Viewers, Adults 18–49 and Adults 25–54

ABC News’ “20/20” ranked as Friday’s No. 1 newsmagazine and led NBC’s “Dateline” by double digits in Total Viewers (+20% – 3.0 million vs. 2.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+67% – 0.5/4 vs. 0.3/2) and Adults 25-54 (+40% – 0.7/4 vs. 0.5/3).  “20/20” beat the NBC newsmagazine for the 2nd straight telecast in both key Adult demos.

 

“20/20” was up from its most-recent telecast (5/21/21) in Total Viewers (+7% – 3.0 million vs. 2.8 million).

 

Season to date, “20/20” is leading NBC’s “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+3% – 3.1 million vs. 3.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+25% – 0.5/4 vs. 0.4/3) and Adults 25-54 (+17% – 0.7/4 vs. 0.6/3).

 

“20/20” featured co-anchor Amy Robach’s exclusive television interview with Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn, the couple at the center of the so-called “Gone Girl” kidnapping case, ahead of the release of their new book.
