‘This Week’ Beats NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ in Total Viewers

 

‘This Week’ Posts Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year Increases in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

 

Season to Date, ‘This Week’ Leads CBS in Adults 25-54 by Largest Margin in 7 Years and NBC in Total Viewers by Largest Margin in 8 Years

“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 on Sunday after the midterm election, Nov. 13, 2022, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.

“This Week” also defeated NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers.

“This Week” posted double-digit, week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (+23% – 2.843 million vs. 2.314 million) and Adults 25-54 (+27% – 560,000 vs. 441,000), drawing its largest overall audience in 8 months ― since 3/20/22. In addition, “This Week” stands as the only Sunday public affairs program to grow in both measures from the previous week.

“This Week” improved on its performance on the same Sunday last year in Total Viewers (+17% – 2.843 million vs. 2.431 million) and Adults 25-54 (+9% – 560,000 vs. 513,000).

Season to date, “This Week” is improving in both Total Viewers (+5% – 2.701 million vs. 2.561 million) and Adults 25-54 (+2% – 539,000 vs. 530,000) versus the same point last season.

“This Week” is leading CBS’ “Face the Nation” in Adults 25-54 by its largest news demo margin in 7 years ― since the 2015-2016 season.

“This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers for the 2nd straight season and by its largest lead in 8 years ― since the 2014-2015 season. In addition, “This Week” is cutting its Total Viewers margin with “Face the Nation” (-57% – 105,000 vs. 242,000) to its smallest gap in 13 years ― since the 2009-2010 season.

George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Dax Tejera is executive producer of the broadcast.
