Executive Producer and Co-Showrunner: grown-ish

Emmy®-nominated producer Courtney Lilly is an executive producer and co-showrunner on the fifth season of Freeform’s hit comedy “grown-ish,” produced by ABC Signature.

Prior to joining “grown-ish,” Lilly served as an executive producer and showrunner for ABC’s Emmy- and Golden Globe®-nominated comedy series “black-ish.” While working on the critically acclaimed sitcom, Lilly simultaneously served as executive producer and showrunner for the prequel spin-off “mixed-ish” for one season.

A storyteller at heart, Lilly started as a journalist for the Providence Journal-Bulletin. In 2000, he won a Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship, moving him out to Los Angeles, where he has written and produced for shows such as Fox’s “Arrested Development” and “The Cleveland Show”; UPN’s “Everybody Hates Chris”; TBS’ “My Boys”; and NBC’s “Guys With Kids” and “Undateable.”
