Reina Carvajal: Upside-Down Magic

Siena Agudong stars as Reina Carvajal, Nory’s best friend and one of the best and brightest students at Sage Academy of Magical Studies whose expert ability to manipulate fire lands her in the honors Flares class, in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Upside Down Magic,” based on the best-selling book series.

Agudong is likely best known for her lead role in the contemporary teen series “No Good Nick,” opposite Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin. She also starred in the feature film “Alex and Me,” opposite U.S. soccer Olympic gold medalist Alex Morgan and the Nickelodeon series “Star Falls.”

Born and raised in Hawaii, 15-year-old Agudong began her acting career in 2013, at the age of 7, with her first booking in a recurring role on ABC’s “Killer Women.” She has since appeared in numerous series, including “Teachers,” “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn,” and Disney Channel’s “Sydney to the Max” and “Raven’s Home.”

Her passion for acting has earned her several Young Entertainer and Young Artist Award nominations. In 2017, she won a Young Entertainer Award for “Best Guest Starring Young Actress 12 & Under.”

Most recently, Agudong wrapped production on an indie film “Let Me In” starring alongside Mackenzie Ziegler and Tobin Bell and has a supporting role in an upcoming franchise action film, to be released in 2021.

In addition to acting, Agudong enjoys dancing and singing. In her free time, she finds herself outdoors and remains active, whether it be kicking a soccer ball or catching some waves with her friends. True to her island roots, Agudong especially enjoys going to the beach with her family.
