Sasheer Zamata

Comedian, actress and writer Sasheer Zamata voices Adria, Lunella’s mom, in Disney Branded Television’s “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,” based on Marvel’s hit comic books.
Zamata was a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” for four seasons. Her additional television credits include ABC’s “Home Economics,” “Woke,” “The Last O.G.,” “The Fungies” and “Robbie.”
Her film credits include the horror-comedy “Spree” and the romantic comedy “The Weekend.” Her stand-up special, “Sasheer Zamata: Pizza Mind,” is available to stream online, and she is one half of the weekly podcast “Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata.”
Born in Okinawa, Japan, she was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Zamata currently resides in Los Angeles.
