Ruth Righi

Ruth Righi stars as the title character of Sydney in Disney Channel’s daughter/father comedy “Sydney to the Max,” now in its third season. Sydney is an independent, strong-willed and clever middle schooler who is starting to come into her own. She is a talented bass player and has a wonderful relationship with her doting, yet somewhat out of touch, single father Max and her hip Grandma Judy.

A talented stage performer and bass player, like her character Sydney, Righi began her professional career in the Broadway production of “School of Rock: The Musical.” During her run, she concurrently booked a role in the Encores! Production of the musical “Really Rosie.” Righi’s acting credits also include the Syfy series “Happy!”

In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages and making music. Born on Sept. 7, Righi currently resides in her hometown of Santa Cruz, California.
