Mae Whitman

Mae Whitman voices Amity, a bright and competitive witch, in Disney Channel’s animated fantasy-comedy series “The Owl House.”

Whitman’s on-screen television credits include “Good Girls,” “Parenthood” and “Arrested Development.” Her films credits include “The DUFF,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “When a Man Loves a Woman,” “Bye Bye Love,” “Independence Day,” “One Fine Day,” “Hope Floats” and “Nights in Rodanthe.”

She has also lent her voice to several animated films, television series and video games, including “The Jungle Book 2,” “Family Guy,” “Disney Fairies” franchise, “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” Disney’s “American Dragon: Jake Long,” “Johnny Bravo,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Kingdom Hearts II.”

Whitman currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where she was born and raised.
