Lara Miller

Lara Jill Miller stars as the voice of Lambie, Doc’s fashion-forward and cuddly best friend, Lamb, in Disney Junior’s Emmy-nominated animated series “Doc McStuffins.” Miller also stars as the voice of the title character in Disney Junior’s “Henry Hugglemonster.”

Miller is best known for her role as Samantha, opposite Nell Carter in the hit 1980s sitcom “Gimme A Break!,” and has been seen and heard in dozens of stage, film and television productions over the years.

Miller began her acting career starring alongside Dick Van Dyke in the Broadway production of “The Music Man,” a role that led to her being cast as the tomboyish Samantha in “Gimme A Break!,” which ran on NBC for six seasons. When the series ended, Miller decided to further her education, graduating Magna Cum Laude from NYU and then obtaining her Juris Doctor from Fordham University of Law. She briefly practiced law in New York City before returning to television in a recurring role on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series “The Amanda Show,” starring Amanda Bynes.

Miller’s additional television credits include the Nickelodeon series “All That” and “iCarly,” ABC’s “General Hospital” and PAX-TV’s “Chicken Soup for the Soul.”  Her voiceover credits include the starring role of Kari on the hit animated series and feature film “Digimon,” Widget in Nickelodeon’s “Wow Wow Wubbzy!,” Allie on PBS’ popular “Curious George,” the title role in the PBS series “Clifford’s Puppy Days,” the title role in Cartoon Network’s “The Life and Times of Juniper Lee” and Izzie in the Emmy Award-winning PBS series “SciGirls.”

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Miller currently resides in Los Angeles.
