Kara Saun

Kara Saun returns as the costume designer for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants 3,” the highly anticipated third installment in the global smash hit “Descendants” franchise.

A finalist on the first season of the hit series “Project Runway,” Kara Saun is now the owner and creative force behind Kara Saun LLC, a dynamic fashion and costume design house that specializes in highly stylized, fashion-driven projects. She has worked on series including Disney Channel’s “Make Your Mark” seasons one and two, “Celebrity Rap Superstar,” “The Sing-Off,” “Eve” and “America’s Best Dance Crew.” She also inspired fashion in the world of dance, having contributed to the “Jabbawockeez MUS.I.C” show in Las Vegas and Disney’s “The Cheetah Girls: One World Tour.”

Regularly called upon as a fashion expert, she has been featured on programs across E! Entertainment Television, Style Network, TV Guide and Bravo. She has also contributed to the following books: “New York Fashion Week” by Eila Mell, “Project Runway” by Eila Mell, and “Becoming a Fashion Designer” by Lisa Springsteel.

Kara Saun has also styled notable celebrities for red carpet events including Heidi Klum, Zoe Saldana, Joy Bryant, Eve, Vanessa Lachey, Mario Lopez, Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah.
