Josh Braaten

Josh Braaten stars as Ben Campbell, Griffin's dubious father who uproots his family to take over the abandoned Tremont Hotel, in Disney Channel's first-ever time-travel mystery series, "Secrets of Sulphur Springs." Originally from Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Braaten is known for his lead role in the sci-fi, period drama "Horizon" and his recurring role on FX's "American Horror Story." His additional television credits include popular series such as "Mad Men," "This Is Us," "Criminal Minds," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Mentalist," "New Girl" and "Mike & Molly," among others. He also starred in the films "Semi-Pro" and "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd." Braaten graduated from Winona State University, where he performed on stage in productions such as Shakespeare's "Macbeth." He later went on to be the lead in "Water by the Spoonful" by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Quiara Alegria Hudes.
