Javier Muñoz

Javier Muñoz voices Eureka's teacher Ohm in Disney Branded Television's "Eureka!," an animated music-filled series about a talented young inventor living in the fantastical prehistoric world of Rocky Falls. Spanning theater, film and television, Muñoz is best known for starring as Alexander Hamilton in Broadway's cultural phenomenon "Hamilton," taking on the role from Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the musical. He got his big break starring as Usnavi in "In the Heights" on Broadway, also created by Miranda. His latest theater credits include "The New Englanders" at Manhattan Theatre Club and the starring role in the North American premiere of Stephen Lloyd Helper's "A Sign of the Times." On television, Muñoz has appeared in "Shadowhunters," "Blindspot" and "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee." He can currently be seen in the Paramount+/MTV film "Three Months" and recently starred in the indie feature "Monuments." He also stars in the upcoming film "Love Reconsidered," opposite Sophie von Haselberg and Colton Haynes. Muñoz is an outspoken activist for LGBTQ+ rights and a global ambassador for (RED), which fights to end HIV/AIDS. He was honored with the prestigious OUT100 Breakout of the Year Award in 2016, as well as the Howard Ashman Award by the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC). He now serves on the board of GMHC.
