Israel Johnson

Noah: BUNK'D
Israel Johnson plays camp counselor Noah, an upbeat and enthusiastic actor who's very proud of his experience in Hollywood, in Disney Branded Television's comedy series "BUNK'D." Johnson, a 15-year-old Philadelphia native, started his acting career at age 4 as an extra in the movie "Night Catches Us," starring Kerry Washington and Anthony Mackie. Johnson then relocated to Las Vegas with his family to support his older brother, who was performing as Young Simba in Disney's "The Lion King." Seeing his brother on stage inspired Johnson also to become an entertainer. At age 6, Johnson moved with his family to Los Angeles to pursue his dream and begin his career. Johnson soon became a hip-hop dancer in a young talent reality show with Dyan Cannon, and, at the age of 8, he appeared as a dancer in the short film "Son Shine," directed by Katrelle N. Kindred. Johnson's career continued to progress as he appeared in several national commercials. His first big break came when he was cast in the recurring role of Ed Morris on the ABC series "Schooled," the spinoff of the popular period sitcom "The Goldbergs." When not on set, Johnson enjoys just being a kid. His hobbies include video games, skateboarding, rapping and creating art pieces. He is also interested in fashion and modeling and is working on new music for a 2021 release date. He resides in Los Angeles with his family.
