Ian Reed Kesler
Adult Max Reynolds:
Sydney to the Max
Ian Reed Kesler stars as Sydney's sensitive and doting—but slightly overwhelmed—single father, Max Reynolds, in Disney Channel's daughter/father comedy "Sydney to the Max." At first glance, Max is very different from his younger and much more adventurous self, seen in flashbacks to the 1990s. He wants to be cooler to better understand and connect with Sydney and sometimes relies on his hipster mother, Judy, to fully grasp what his daughter Sydney is going through.
A veteran actor, Kesler is also best known for his recurring role of stock market trader Stu Buzzini on the popular series "Suits." He has guest starred and recurred on a wide variety of series, including "9-1-1," "Training Day," "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn," "Melissa & Joey," "Two Broke Girls," Disney Channel's "Kickin' It," ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "The Big Bang Theory," "Justified," "Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Weeds" and many more.
Kesler's feature film credits include "500 Days of Summer," "Off the Menu," "Poster Boy," "Politics of Love" and "Below the Beltway."
He is also very passionate about directing and has directed three episodes of "Sydney to the Max."
Born in Birmingham, Michigan, Kesler currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
