Elie Samouhi

Elie Samouhi stars as Elliot Cohen, a somewhat bumbling Flare whose magic unfortunately produces smoke instead of flames, in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Upside-Down Magic,” based on the best-selling book series.

Samouhi is best known for his series regular role as video blogger Rodney on Disney Channel’s hit comedy series “Bizaardvark.” He also starred in the Netflix comedy series “Team Kaylie,” alongside his “Upside-Down Magic” co-star Alison Fernandez. His other credits include the short film “Love is the Only River,” the television movie “A Christmas Story Live!” and a guest-starring role in “Schooled.”

Samouhi lives in Los Angeles with his parents and older sister. An avid musician, he enjoys singing and playing the guitar, bass and drums. He also enjoys basketball and is a Los Angeles Lakers super-fan.
