Eden Espinosa

Broadway star Eden Espinosa voices the Queen of Hearts, Princess Rosa’s persnickety and particular, yet doting mother, in “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery,” Disney Junior’s fantastical new animated series inspired by the world of “Alice in Wonderland.”

Espinosa is best known for her portrayal of Elphaba in the Broadway, Los Angeles and San Francisco productions of “Wicked.” Additional musical theater credits include originating the title character in “Brooklyn the Musical,” playing Maureen in the closing company of “Rent” and starring as Flora in the Reprise Theater Company production of “Flora the Red Menace.” Most recently, she starred as Trina in the National Touring production of “Falsettos.” She also originated the role of Sadie Thompson in the world premiere of “Rain and Mamí,” in the world premiere of “The Gardens of Anuncia” at The Old Globe Theatre, and she played Eva Peron to critical acclaim in the Studio Tenn and TPACs production of “Evita.”

On television, Espinosa’s credits include “Law and Order” and “Ugly Betty.” Among her voice-over roles are “Robot Chicken,” Disney’s “Elena of Avalor,” “MAD,” “Titan Maximum” and Disney Channel’s “Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure,” based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ acclaimed feature film.
