Dan Payne

Dan Payne stars as Beast, the father of King Ben and husband of Belle, in the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants 2.” Payne has been a mainstay on the small screen for years, known for his roles in “Stargate SG-1” and “Alice, I Think.” He has appeared in hit films and TV series such as “Star Trek Beyond,” “The Cabin in the Woods,” “Watchmen,” “Warcraft,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Stargate: Atlantis,” “Smallville,” “Supernatural” and “Battlestar Galactica.” A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Payne lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
