Cheyenne Jackson

Cheyenne Jackson joins the cast as Hades, the nefarious god of the underworld from the animated Disney classic "Hercules." Hades longs for an opportunity to get off the Isle of the Lost in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants 3," the highly anticipated trequel in the global hit "Descendants" franchise. GRAMMY®-nominated Jackson is a multitalented stage, television and film actor. He's likely best known for his work on four consecutive seasons of Ryan Murphy's FX horror anthology, "American Horror Story." Additional television credits include the HBO biopic "Behind the Candelabra" opposite Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, "Glee," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "30 Rock," "Family Practice," "American Woman" among many others. Cheyenne's film credits include "Love is Strange," alongside Marisa Tomei, John Lithgow and Alfred Molina; "Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks"; the indie drama "Beautiful Now"; and "Day Out of Days," with Eddie Izzard and Melanie Griffith. A veteran of the theater, Jackson most recently finished a critically acclaimed run of "The Most Happy Fella" at the New York City Center. His additional Broadway credits include "The Performers," "Finian's Rainbow," "Xanadu," "Aida" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie." Jackson also starred in the Encores! production of "Damn Yankees" and off-Broadway productions of "The Agony & the Agony" and "Altar Boys." Jackson is an accomplished singer and made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall with his show, "Cheyenne Jackson's Cocktail Hour: Music of the 'Mad Men' Era." He also released his first, full-length album of original music titled, "I'm Blue, Skies" with SONY/ATV. Jackson is an international ambassador for amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) and he also serves as the national ambassador for the Hetrick-Martin Institute, a nonprofit organization devoted to serving the needs of LGBT youth.
