Pepper Paloma: Upside-Down Magic

Alison Fernandez stars as Pepper Paloma, a tough and rebellious UDM student at the Sage Academy of Magical Studies, in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Upside-Down Magic,” based on the best-selling book series. As a telekinetic, Pepper is gifted with Flicker powers, but her abilities lack control.

Fernandez is best known for playing Amber Diaz on “Team Kaylie” and Lucy Vidrio in “Once Upon A Time.” She also appeared in recurring roles on many popular shows, including “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Jane the Virgin.”

Additional on-screen credits include starring in the television movies “Life-Size 2,” “An American Girl Story: Summer Camp, Friends for Life” and “The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez.” Voice-over credits include “Vampirina” and “We Bare Bears.” Fernandez also appeared as Delilah, the ice girl, in the blockbuster hit movie “Logan,” with Hugh Jackman.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Fernandez discovered her passion for acting at the age of 5 through school plays and community theater. Shortly after, she made her on-screen debut in several national commercials, including Macy’s and Toys ‘R Us.

In her free time, Fernandez enjoys staying active by doing various forms of martial arts, including Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Parkour, along with a variety of sports including gymnastics, swimming, ice-skating, diving, running, horseback riding, tennis, skiing, skateboarding and biking.
