Alan Bodner

Alan Bodner is art director of Disney Branded Television’s “Mickey Mouse Funhouse,” a whimsical animated series for preschoolers featuring Disney’s #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals — Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Funny, an enchanted talking playhouse.

Bodner’s most recent work includes production designer on Disney Channel’s “Tangled: The Series,” which earned him an Emmy® Award. His other Disney credits in art direction include “Kim Possible,” “Phineas & Ferb,” “The Replacements,” “Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas” and “Cinderella II.”

Raised in Portland, Oregon, Bodner was born into a creative family and moved to Los Angeles to attend the Art Center College of Design, where he developed his spontaneous and unpredictable creative approach. His fine art, which ranges from pop surrealism to multitiered geometric assemblage, has been featured in galleries and museums throughout the country, including The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.

His additional credits include the Annie Award-winning “The Iron Giant,” “Garfield & Friends,” “The Life & Times of Juniper Lee,” “Mighty Mouse,” “The Fat Albert Show,” “Heckle & Jeckle,” “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” and several “Looney Tunes” theatrical shorts.

Bodner currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Annie, daughter Olivia and son Hayden.
