WITH LARGEST MARGIN OVER CBS IN 1.5 YEARS, ‘THIS WEEK WITH GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS’ RANKS NO. 1 IN ADULTS 25-54
‘This Week’ Posts Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year Gains in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54
Season to Date, ‘This Week’ Is Up in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, Beating NBC by Its Largest Total Viewer Margin in 28 Years
“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (433,000) on Sunday, April 27, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “This Week” outdelivered CBS’ “Face the Nation” (369,000) by its largest Adults 25-54 margin (+64,000) in nearly 1 ½ years — since 11/12/23, based on regular telecasts.
- “This Week” posted week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (+6% – 2.480 million vs. 2.331 million) and Adults 25-54 (+7% – 433,000 vs. 403,000).
- “This Week” improved on the year-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+2% – 2.480 million vs. 2.443 million) and Adults 25-54 (+15% – 433,000 vs. 376,000).
- Season to date, “This Week” is up over the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.568 million vs. 2.533 million) and Adults 25-54 (+1% – 429,000 vs. 425,000). “This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” by its largest Total Viewer margin (+105,000 – 2.568 million vs. 2.463 million) in 28 years — since the 1996-1997 season.
George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Brooke Brower is the executive producer.
ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
