Gabby Petito hoped her upcoming trip with fiancé Brian Laundrie would be an adventure of a lifetime when they outfitted a van to travel across the country, visiting national parks and monuments and documenting it via social media. After several months into their trip, Gabby disappeared, and her parents reported her missing. Soon after, authorities discovered her body near Grand Teton National Park, and Brian was named a person of interest in her death. “GMA3” co-anchor Eva Pilgrim reports on the case in the season two finale of the “20/20” limited true crime series “Bad Romance,” airing Monday, May 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu.

“Bad Romance” is hosted by ABC News contributor and ESPN analyst Ryan Smith. Now in its second season, the series reveals shocking true crime stories of love turned lethal over the years and features interviews with individuals involved in some of the most deadly and twisted obsessions.
