Highlights for ABC News’ ‘GMA3: What You Need To Know,’ Aug. 5–9

The following report highlights the programming of ABC’s “GMA3: What You Need to Know” during the week of Aug. 5-9. “GMA3: What You Need to Know” is a one-hour program co-anchored by Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan. The news program airs weekdays at 1:00 p.m. EDT | 12:00 p.m. CDT on ABC, and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EDT on ABC News Live.

Tuesday, Aug. 6 – New York Fire Department Commissioner Laura Kavanagh; ABC News medical correspondent Dr. Darien Sutton answers viewer questions; Kindness Card Movement founder Jason Wright shares his work of spreading kindness around the world

Wednesday, Aug. 7 – ABC News Live anchor Kyra Phillips interviews artists featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s exhibit “From Where I Stand”; Deals & Steals with ABC’s e-commerce editor Tory Johnson; Jonathan Hayward discusses the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center’s performance of “Summer for the City”

Thursday, Aug. 8 – Actress Myha’la (“Industry”); Parents magazine Editor-in-Chief Grace Bastidas reveals the 2023 Parents Kids’ Sleep Awards; DeMarco Morgan sits down with Mike Brown’s mother, Lezley McSpadden, 10 years after her son was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri; rapper Styles P discusses his work to eradicate food deserts in the United States
