For the 6th Week Straight, ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ Is the Most-Watched Sunday Public Affairs Program in Adult 25–54

“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (455,000) on Sunday, July 28, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, taking the top spot for the 6th week in a row.

• For the 5th week in a row, “This Week” improved on the same week last year in Adults 25-54 (+20% – 485,000 vs. 380,000).

• “This Week” posted week-to-week gains in both Total Viewers (+4% – 2.535 million vs. 2.436 million) and Adults 25-54 (+14% – 455,000 vs. 399,000).

• Season to date, “This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers for the 3rd straight season (2.506 million vs. 2.502 million).

NOTE: “Meet the Press” was preempted for NBC’s coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics. CBS’ “Face the Nation” was retitled to “Face-Nation.”

George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Brooke Brower is the executive producer.

ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” each air for 60 minutes, while CBS’ “Face the Nation” airs for 30 minutes.
