AN ALL-NEW ‘20/20’ INVESTIGATES THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF TONI HENTHORN, WHO PLUNGED FROM A CLIFF WHILE CELEBRATING A WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
‘20/20’ Features Exclusive Interview With Toni’s Daughter, Haley Bertolet, Who Speaks With ABC News for the First Time Since Her Mother’s Death
Airing Friday, Feb. 28, on ABC and Streaming Next Day on Hulu

Toni Henthorn was an accomplished ophthalmologist with a seemingly perfect life that included a loving husband and a beautiful 7-year-old daughter named Haley. Toni and her family lived outside Denver, Colorado, where she had a thriving private practice. But when she and her husband Harold celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary with a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, Toni fell to her death from a 160-foot cliff. “GMA3” co-anchor Eva Pilgrim examines Toni Henthorn’s suspicious death in an all-new “20/20,” airing FRIDAY, FEB. 28 (9:01-11:00 p.m. EST) on ABC and streaming next day on Hulu.
Toni’s shocking and fatal fall led the National Park Service and the FBI to investigate her death, leading them down a path that unraveled years of deception and raised questions about a second death. Now, nearly 13 years after her mother’s death, Toni and Harold’s daughter, Haley, speaks publicly for the first time in an exclusive interview with “20/20,” sharing her story and memories of her mother.
