ABC News Ranks as the No. 1 U.S. Network Across Broadcast and Cable for Coverage of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Leading in All Key Demos

Saturday’s Coverage Averaged More Than 3 Million Viewers

ABC News’ special coverage of “The Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla” ranked No. 1 in all key target demos: Total Viewers (3.037 million), Adults 25-54 (688,000) and Adults 18-49 (506,000), making it the No. 1 U.S. network for coronation coverage across both broadcast and cable. ABC outdelivered coronation coverage on CBS (1.581 million, 276,000 and 191,000, respectively) and NBC (2.723 million, 538,000 and 379,000, respectively).

ABC News’ coverage led the coronation coverage on the major cable networks: CNN (972,000, 173,000 and 112,000, respectively), Fox News Channel (1.604 million, 160,000 and 94,000, respectively) and MSNBC (694,000, 77,000 and 57,000, respectively).

Saturday’s coverage, live from London, was anchored by “Good Morning America” co-anchor Michael Strahan alongside senior national affairs correspondent Deborah Roberts; “Good Morning America”’s Lara Spencer; chief foreign correspondent Ian Pannell; foreign correspondents James Longman, Maggie Rulli, Britt Clennett and Lama Hasan; contributors Robert Jobson, Victoria Murphy, Ailsa Anderson, Omid Scobie and Peter Westmacott, the former deputy private secretary to King Charles; and Kristina Kyriacou, the former communications secretary to King Charles.

ABC News Live’s simulcast coverage and re-air reached approximately 4.2 million viewers, driving 3 million hours streamed^.
