ABC ANNOUNCES FALL 2025 PRIMETIME SCHEDULE

ABC announced its fall 2025 primetime schedule today following a highly successful season as the No. 1 multiplatform network. In the first full broadcast season where Nielsen reported on competitive multiplatform ratings, the network outperformed its competition dominating cross-platform rankings and earning all top 5 programs in the 2024/2025 broadcast season across Adults 18-49: “High Potential” (No. 1), “Abbott Elementary” (No. 2), “The Rookie” (No. 3), “9-1-1” (No. 4) and “Shifting Gears” (No. 5). ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS’ RENEWED FOR SEASON 34 AND REVEALS FIRST CELEBRITY CAST MEMBER

“Dancing with the Stars” has been renewed for season 34 and will air on ABC and Disney+, and stream next day on Hulu. Produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts. Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin will join as the first celebrity cast member. Robert’s sister, Bindi Irwin, took home the Mirrorball Trophy in season 21 alongside her partner, Derek Hough. The full cast of celebrities and pro dancers will be announced at a later date. Season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” ranked No. 1 this past fall among Adults 18-49 in Live+Same Day viewing, marking the first time the series ranked No. 1 for the broadcast season in L+SD in its history. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ 500th Telecast Is Top Entertainment Program of the Night in Adults 18-49

Disney/Eric McCandless* Series photos are available here. “Dancing with the Stars” celebrated its 500th episode on Tuesday night, becoming the top entertainment program of the night in Adults 18-49 (0.71 rating). In addition, the milestone episode, featuring spectacular tribute performances from past seasons, ranked as the No. 1 telecast on Tuesday night in Women 18-34 (0.92 rating) and Women 18-49 (0.95 rating), as well as Teens 12-17 (0.29 rating) and Adults 25-54 (0.93 rating). “Dancing with the Stars” grew over the previous episode by a healthy +15% in Total Viewers (5.13 million vs. 4.47 million), hitting a season high. “Dancing with the Stars” also led NBC’s “The Voice” by 29% (5.13 million vs. 3.97 million), its largest margin over the long-running singing competition program in nine years — since 11/24/15. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 33 Premiere Shoots to 7.32 Million Total Viewers and 1.31 Adults 18-49 Across Platforms

After seven days of viewing (including linear playback) on ABC, Disney+, Hulu and digital platforms, the “Dancing with the Stars” season 33 premiere earned 32 million Total Viewers and a 1.31 rating in Adults 18-49, increasing over its initial Live +Same Day audience by +47 % in Total Viewers (7.32 million vs. 4.97 million) and by +79% in Adults 18-49 (1.31 rating vs. 0.73 rating). With two episodes to date (9/17/24 & 9/24/24), “Dancing with the Stars” is averaging a remarkable 0.81 rating in Adults 18-49 in L+3 viewing. In fact, the two-episode average is exceeding the previous season average in Adults 18-49 by +17% (0.81 rating vs. 0.70 rating).
