ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Ranks as No. 1 Late-Night Talk Show For 2nd Consecutive Week Among Key Adults 18-49

During the week of Oct. 9, 2023, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” ranked as the No. 1 late-night talk show for the 2nd consecutive week in the key demo of Adults 18-49 (0.20 rating). “Kimmel” topped NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” by 11% (0.18 rating) and CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” by 18% (0.17 rating) in the key demo of Adults 18-49.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” grew over premiere week by 5% in the key demo of Adults 18-49 (0.20 rating vs. 0.19 rating).

“Kimmel” improved over the year-ago week (w/o 10/10/22) by double digits for the 2nd week in a row in Total Viewers (+14% – 1.58 million vs. 1.39 million) and the key demo of Adults 18-49 (+25% – 0.20 rating vs. 0.16 rating).

 ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” delivered the week’s Top 2 highest-rated late-night telecasts in the key demo of Adults 18-49, with its Monday (0.33 rating) and Tuesday (0.21 rating) broadcasts, respectively. In fact, the Monday broadcast of “Kimmel” (on 10/9/23) stands as the highest-rated telecast for any late-night talk show so far this season in the key demo of Adults 18-49 (0.33 rating).
