Jamie Lynn Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears is an American actress and singer who rose to prominence for her appearances on Nickelodeon shows “All That” and for playing Zoey Brooks on “Zoey 101.” Recently, Spears released an intimate memoir, “Things I Should Have Said,” which quickly became a national bestseller. She recently appeared on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” and also earned a starring role in “Sweet Magnolias.” Most recently, Spears can be seen reviving her role as Zoey Brooks in the highly anticipated film of the summer, “Zoey 102.”

Spears was born in a small town, McComb, Mississippi, and made her acting debut in the 2002 Paramount film “Crossroads,” which starred older sister Britney, in a cameo role as young Lucy Wagner. Soon after, Spears signed on as a regular performer on the Nickelodeon sketch series “All That.” Her performance was positively received by critics, and after three seasons, she then took the role of protagonist Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon situation comedy series “Zoey 101,” for which she also reorded the theme song. The series premiered in 2005 and instantly became a smash hit. During its run, Spears won a multitude of awards ranging from the Young Hollywood Award, Young Artist Award and a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award. Spears also cameoed in the ABC comedy sitcom series “Miss Guided” and voiced Goldilocks in the film “Unstable Fables: Goldilocks & 3 Bears Show.”
