Frank Valentini

Executive Producer: General Hospital

Emmy® Award winner Frank Valentini became executive producer of ABC’s “General Hospital” in January 2012, following an award-winning run as EP of ABC’s “One Life to Live.”

Prior to being named executive producer of “One Life to Live,” Valentini held various positions on the show, including associate director, stage manager and coordinating producer. He has also been a commercial director for a broadcast and web campaign on ESPN, as well as directed ABC Daytime’s award-winning and innovative 10-part series of “What If” webisodes, containing a mashup of “General Hospital,” “One Life to Live” and “All My Children” characters. Valentini has a vast knowledge of contemporary music, which he acquired when he served as a radio station music director, talent scout for Steam Records and freelance writer for VH-1. He served for two years on the board of the New Group Theater Company.

In addition to his producing duties, Valentini is also a published photographer, proud member of the Directors Guild of America and directs whenever his schedule allows. He enjoys traveling, having been to over 80 countries, and spending time with his family on the East Coast.
