Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Daniel Thomsen’s television career began 20 years ago as a production assistant. His first writing break came on the CBS legal drama, “Close to Home,” the start of a run that led him to shows such as “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” “Westworld,” “The Passage” and “Batwoman.” As a creator, he’s developed projects for HBO, ABC, Amazon, The CW and others. He is currently the co-showrunner of the ABC drama “Will Trent,” based on the crime novel series by Karin Slaughter.
