Carter Oosterhouse is co-host for season two of ABC’s “The Great Halloween Fright Fight” airing October 2023. He is one of America’s most recognized lifestyle experts. He is best known for hosting many popular television series ranging from “Trading Spaces,” “Carter Can” and “Red Hot & Green” to “Million Dollar Rooms” and “Celebrity Motor Homes.”

Oosterhouse is the co-host of ABC’s hit primetime series special “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” which aired its 10th season last November. He was most recently featured on two seasons of TLC’s “Trading Spaces” reboot and is currently filming a project for Magnolia, where he is renovating his 100-year-old barn.

Outside of television, Oosterhouse is an authority in eco-living and spends much of his free time working with his nonprofit, Carter’s Kids, where they construct safe, nontoxic playgrounds all across the U.S. Oosterhouse splits his time between Atlanta and Traverse City, Michigan, with his wife, actress Amy Smart, and their 3-year-old daughter, Flora.
