‘This Week with George Stephanopoulos’ Draws Largest Overall Audience in 9 Months

“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” averaged 2.990 million Total Viewers and 589,000 Adults 25-54 on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.  “This Week” beat NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers and led CBS’ “Face the Nation” in Adults 25-54.  

“This Week” saw gains from the previous week in Total Viewers (+5% – 2.990 million vs. 2.843 million) and Adults 25-54 (+5% – 569,000 vs. 560,000), drawing its largest overall audience in 9 months ― since 2/27/22.

“This Week” scored double-digit increases year to year in Total Viewers (+27% – 2.990 million vs. 2.349 million) and Adults 25-54 (+24% – 589,000 vs. 474,000).

Season to date, “This Week” is improving in both Total Viewers (+7% – 2.862 million vs. 2.565 million) and Adults 25-54 (+4% – 527,000 vs. 528,000) versus the same point last season.

Season to date, “This Week” is leading CBS’ “Face the Nation” in Adults 25-54 by its largest news demo margin in 7 years ― since the 2015-2016 season.

“This Week” is beating NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers for the 2nd straight season and by its largest lead in 27 years ― since the 1995-1996 season. In addition, “This Week” is cutting its Total Viewers season margin with “Face the Nation” (-77% – 57,000 vs. 243,000) to its smallest gap in 13 years ― since the 2009-2010 season.
