ABC Is No. 1 Entertainment Network for 3rd Straight Week With Adults 18-49

Network Grows to 4-Week Highs


ABC Claims 7 of Week’s Top 15 Entertainment Series

During the week of May 2, 2022, ABC stood as the No. 1 entertainment network outright among Adults 18-49 (0.7/6), leading Fox by 17% (0.6/5), NBC by 40% (0.5/5) and CBS by 40% (0.5/4). ABC ranked or tied as the No. 1 entertainment network for the 3rd consecutive week and for the 4th time in 5 weeks with Adults 18-49.


ABC built for the 2nd straight week in Total Viewers (+14% – 4.8 million vs. 4.2 million) and grew week to week by 17% among Adults 18-49 (0.7/6 vs. 0.6/5) to deliver 4-week highs in both Nielsen measures – since the week of 4/4/22.


ABC claimed 7 of the week’s Top 15 highest-rated entertainment series among Adults 18-49, marking the most for any network (CBS – 4, NBC – 3, Fox – 3): “Grey’s Anatomy” (1.1/10), “American Idol-Sunday” (0.9/8), “Station 19” (0.8/8), “American Idol-Monday” (0.8/7), “The Good Doctor” (0.8/7), “The Rookie” (0.8/7) and “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (0.8/7).


ABC’s “The Conners” was the week’s No. 1 comedy with Adults 18-49 (0.7/5), tying CBS’ “The Neighborhood” (0.7/6).
